Program Founders
Jack Kornfield, PhD
Jack Kornfield trained as a Buddhist monk in Thailand, Burma, and India and has taught meditation internationally since 1974. He is one of the key teachers to introduce Buddhist mindfulness practice to the West. Jack holds a PhD in clinical psychology and co-founded the Insight Meditation Society and Spirit Rock Meditation Center. He is the author of numerous books including A Path with Heart, The Wise Heart, and No Time Like the Present.
Tara Brach, PhD
Tara Brach is an internationally known meditation teacher and author of several bestselling books including Radical Acceptance, True Refuge, and Radical Compassion. She has practiced and taught Buddhist meditation for over 40 years and holds a PhD in clinical psychology. Tara is the founder of the Insight Meditation Community of Washington, DC (IMCW), which now serves over 180,000 people worldwide through her free weekly podcasts.

Your Mentor Group will be led by one of our carefully selected MMTCP mentors—experienced meditation teachers who have been hand-picked and trained by Jack and Tara.

Monthly Group Sessions:
